Contra Costa County Coalition Receives $1.2 Million Grant for Brownfield Assessments

Contra Costa County in collaboration with the cities of Antioch, Martinez, and Pinole were selected for an assessment coalition grant. This grant program will allow the county and cities to evaluate potentially contaminated sites called brownfields. The work will allow local governments to take the necessary steps to begin the process of pursuing future uses for the potentially contaminated sites.
